Google deja de mostrar la autoría de contenidos en los resultados de búsqueda y continua olvidándose de Google+.

Dos años después de la puesta en marcha del Authorship, este pasado jueves Google anunció que en sus resultados de búsqueda dejarían de mostrar los nombres de los autores asociados a los artículos publicados.

Esta  característica del Authorship, fue implementada con la intención de permitir a los escritores confirmar la propiedad de su contenido y ganar seguidores al mostrarla obra del autor en los resultados de búsqueda.

Google ha estado realizando cambios durante estos últimos meses referente a todo lo relacionado con Google+, eliminando la foto de perfil del Authorship y posteriormente el número de seguidores.

Para todos los que relacionábamos el Authorship con el SEO de Google, ha sido como “un cántaro de agua fría” esta noticia.

Finalizando, no pasa nada amigos, retrocedemos 3 años y volvemos a ver en los resultados de búsqueda de Google como antaño, con su Titular, Descripción, enlace y fecha de publicación.
